I created this video to assist Cafe 1040 in their overall ministry.

I’ve greatly enjoyed listening to (pretty much all) of David Platt’s sermons online, as well as, Francis Chan. Both these guys seem to have a real passion for the Gospel and living it out.

Sometimes it’s hard to know to help people. I stumbled across this list from Relevant Magazine and thought it had some great ideas.

It’s Good Friday and this is the verse that comes to mind for me today.

Christian Hosoi was and is an ultimate skateboarding hero. Ask anyone from the 80′s and 90′s and you’d get the same response. His skate decks where under my feet in my early teenage years and I loved watching him shred in old videos (like Terror in Tahoe!). Today I got to watch his story of freedom. One word…Awesome!

Ok, I admit it, I’m a fan of C.S. Lewis. He’s definitely got a way with words.

My walk has been short, but the effect it’s had on “holidays” has been pretty immense. Things have changed, to say the least. Although it’s easy to make fun of “Hell”, I don’t think most people really want to go and visit. We all have an idea of what we think it is, or in some cases what it is not, but what do we really know? Looks like Francis Chan has a new book coming out to discuss the topic.
